She who Believed in Fairytales
Darlene was fifteen when she stared into the mirror and imagined the veil on her head. She’d always wanted to be a bride. Closing her eyes, she could vividly picture her fairytale wedding and her perfect, handsome Prince Charming.
Her Prince Charming turned out to have two left feet and an imperfect smile. But he loved her, getting down on one knee to propose. He gave her the fairytale wedding she’d always dreamed of; an outdoor wedding in a beautiful park. It was completely perfect. Her happiness made her shine radiantly.
“I do,” was the easiest thing she’d ever say.
